Ali's Backstory

mm_aliAli Salvatore was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Her family life was as normal as such could be. Her parents were tolerant of each other and kept their fights out of her hearing most of the time.
She went to NYU, majoring in English with an emphasis in screenplays. She fully expected to spend more time working in a diner to support herself than writing.
One day while eating in the Life Cafe, she knocked one of her notebooks down. Mark Cohen picked it up and asked if he could read the page that was open. He hired her when she was finished.
All in all, Ali is pretty content to live in the Building near Jill and Quin and across from Kyle. It's a life, and one she's glad to have.
